Back in the days of Arno Bernard Sr. When they had tapered tangs and an exquisite Cape Buffalo sheath.
These knives are old. They have never been used. I did strop the Gecko a long time ago. Neither knife has been used to cut anything.
Neither of them have been worn on a belt/carried..

I redid the lanyard on my Rinkhals, removed the top knot and just used a whipping knot there and then 3 snake knots after the copper bead

That was my initial choice before I started reading about it. Seems like those are not as durable for EDC purposes as other natural materials? What would happen to it if i accidently drop it on concrete for example (like I think has happened with every other knife that I have)? tbh I'm not sure if the warthog/kudu is the best choice for me either..

D Danak92 exactly why i opted for Desert Ironwood. I had decided beforehand that the knife would be user so it was either PJ, Carbon Fiber or Desert Ironwood for me. The knife is so good that getting another with Mammoth is likely to happen though.
