Just got my first BK2, and I'm stoked! I did the the normal mods it seems a lot of people do....Stripped the coating, put on Micarta scales. I like the rough look of it right now, I did polish the spine. Just went out yesterday and batoned some wood, then was able to use it to take some fine shavings off the wood....then made an awesome fire. I am so in love with this knife....I'm carrying it everywhere with me. So here it a pic of my absolute enthusiasm.

I didn't do the mod. I bought it this way from someone on the auction site. It was a lucky find. The jimping on your 14 looks great.
