LOL! Yah it kinda does look like a shiv. Whenever I get the knife bug, but do not have the cash... I tend to start modding or making my own. That bottom blade actually was a first attempt at hammering out a blade a while back. I have made some others in the past but they all looked... well... yah... anyways it was made from a leaf spring out of a drawworks airflex clutch. Surprisingly after HT it was a pretty good blade! Held its edge after cross cut battoning tests at least. It works pretty well for an absolutely zero cost blade. Its a trailing point blade, hammered finish with BK14 style handles pretty much... here are some pics.




 
I've thought about getting one before. I have read several times that they're a good setup.

I do believe you handled all three beckers not more than a few hours ago lol. Glad to see you on the forums, and allow me to be the first to welcome you to our little corner of crazy. Were quaintly nestled between devoted, and fanatical. Your gonna fit in perfectly lol :D

Well, you could start a new thread, and give an introduction of yourself there, complete with pictures and the like, but thats gonna be tough for ya right now. I've got your 2 sittin on my counter waiting to go under the scalpel lol. You could always go up to the stickied snark thread at the top of the BK&T page. We use that thread for general purpose rambling, groaning, moaning, preaching, thrashing, lying, and crying lol. Be careful though, the snark gets pretty crazy in there some times lol :D
