I really like the bamboo on the "Chop Stick". I think it needs to be stripped and mustard spattered.
....or blood splattered; after all, it is for zombies. Maybe you could use ketchup instead....at least it would look like blood. I love your custom woodies too. they look comfortable.

This is what I have so far. Should be more later if the UPS and USPS drivers manage to make it through the DFW area down here to central Texas today. Apparently the bit about "neither sleet, nor rain.....blah, blah" from the Post Office isn't true anymore.

I really like the looks and feel of the RSK/BK12, but haven't used it yet. I want to compare to the others before deciding which one to start working with first. I have used the ESEE kitchen knives, and find them to be just as good as my Zwilling/JA Henckels Four Star set. Already ordered a second set of these to be delivered to my sister-in-law.

Mr Worldwood: What's that monster under the junglas?

LMAO oh man i got a good laugh out of that :D That is a competition chopper from Dan Keffeler, And it is the best chopper i have ever held. Dan makes some excellent knives, the way the handle is positioned is literally genius!! He also holds the world record in the 2x4 cut with one of these knives.

Its is a monster though, at almost 2 pounds and .35" thick it is purely a BEAST!!

Worldwood.....great competition chopper you got there. What a beast. How much have you used it and what are you impressions on its chopping ability. I know you said its the best you've used but any details would be great.

I have only used it on a few pieces of firewood, I live in the city and right now its too cold to really get outside and do some real chopping with it, but i had saved several pieces of wood last time i was out camping just to try this knife out when i got it.

From what i can tell so far It chops with a lot of power. It has a lot of weight behind it and a great edge on it. The handle position helps give you wonderful accuracy. With very minimal effort it bites DEEP. In the picture i posted above the RTAK 2 is a great knife and a really good chopper itself but i can swing the RTAK2 HARD into wood and it still doesnt bite as deep as the Keffeler using minimal effort. After i turned the wood i had into saw dust the knife would still shave hair and slice thru paper with ease. I look forward to putting it to work some more but my initial impression is im very impressed :D

Awesome blade Worldwood. Thanks for the input. You will have to post up more on it when you have a chance to play with it more.

Stripped and mustard spattered. Is this the only one of these anyone has wasted an evening prettying up? The new scales have made it a comfortable tool instead of a painful gimmick.

Cool, but not a Becker.
