When I first got my Edge Pro Professional, I'd get bum kicked because the Becker's would not give me an excuse to use it. Fortunately I have other knives that let me put the EdgePro to good use. These knives scream "use me". I'm continually amazed at the edge retention. I can't wait to get my hands on the new ones.
Dunno if anyone answered this for you but yes it is not unusual for you to need to tighten the bolts when you first get a BK. I used medium Loctite on mine and am good to go. I carry a allan wrench in case I need to get to the survival kit in the handle like the one Mac posted on his My BK-7 Kit Knife thread.. Otherwise the bolts have stayed put once I added the loctite.i've seen a vid on youtube of some dude chopping and batoning with a bk9. after all said and done, one of his bolts comes loose too.
is this something that commonly happens with this knife or is this part of the charm of this bad boy (just carry a hex driver with you?)
do some of the bk brothas out on this forum actually loctite the bolts?
thx!
Wow, great pics Murph!!

I deffently think that GUYON wins when it comes to beckers!
