BK-9 ... I made a lamination slab of 100% layered mil-spec ACU Digital linen back in 2008 and it's been laying around since then, so here is my 1st try at grinding out scales for my Becker...

Those digital camo scales are pretty neat. I guess I'll have to look into this making your own micarta stuff.

It's not hard to do. Time consuming yes, hard no. I will say this, Don't expect top quality the first time and don't use up your best fabric on the first batch either.

Here's a couple I took today. It's a Becker BK7 that was originally desert tan, until I stripped off the coating. I've also convexed the edge over the years, so now it performs even better than it did new.
