Used the 1 for the first time tonight. Batonned a few pieces. Worked great. Gonna do some dogs over the fire when my son gets here later. Photos not the best, lighting was less than ideal.

Very nice. I have to say, the BK15 has to be one of my favorite Beckers. I really like the patina on it, did you apply it yourself or did it form naturally?

Thanks. At first I stripped and polished it but it would rust before I was even done chopping up a pile of vegetables. So I started the patina with apple cider vinegar, no more rust. Its been doing kitchen duty cutting meat and veggies since then, further developing the interesting patina.
