Yea there's plenty of knives pictured in this thread, but he quoted none...he said it right after my pix but mine are all factory currently...So it didn't make sense for him asking me.That was the question that popped in my head. Pretty sure he's referring to factory scales......which made me go cross-eyed.

These are not aftermarket, I'm sure. They've been fitted and pinned (and epoxied, I'm also quite sure). Plus the knife has been stripped - bare steel showing all the way around the handle. Tommy makes really nice aftermarket scales, with more of the original contours - like the palm swell - that these don't appear to have (they look flat across the longitudinal axis)....but they're still beautiful. I'm curious as to the wood species.
