Post your Becker knives pics here

Soon...

(At work, got my package, but can't play until I get home. It's currently sitting under my desk calling my name temptingly)

Got 2 new members to the family today, another bk2, and a bk9. My original bk2 has been my go to knife for hard use since I first got it 4 years ago, and recently started modifying it. It's cool seeing the difference between my original from years of sharpening and my recent modifications and this one.

I look forward to replacing my current main chopper (a schrade kukri) with the bk9.

That was the question that popped in my head. Pretty sure he's referring to factory scales......which made me go cross-eyed.
Yea there's plenty of knives pictured in this thread, but he quoted none...he said it right after my pix but mine are all factory currently...So it didn't make sense for him asking me.

They are beautiful, Havent seen Tommy make any handles like that. Customs?

I'm guessing it was Tommy. They aren't mine. I want to get some wood done. I am making two custom beckers. The other, mine, is getting custom g10 from Toadstkr. He does great work.

As much as I love the bk2 the factory grind just doesn't work for me. I convexed my other one last night using a mouse pad and sand paper.

These are not aftermarket, I'm sure. They've been fitted and pinned (and epoxied, I'm also quite sure). Plus the knife has been stripped - bare steel showing all the way around the handle. Tommy makes really nice aftermarket scales, with more of the original contours - like the palm swell - that these don't appear to have (they look flat across the longitudinal axis)....but they're still beautiful. I'm curious as to the wood species.

Sweet setup!

Now I just need to get the bk4, 5, 7, 13, 14, 16, 17, and 24. Would also love to get my hands on a bk1. Also want another 9 once ive gotten the rest.

It's allot easier to convex a knife these days with machines like the wskt-ko, but it's more rewarding to convex the old fashion way with a mouse pad and sand paper.
