I can't seem to bring myself to do those kind of mods. I'll do visual mods (different scales, stripped, etc)but I don't think I've ever altered or removed metal from a knife before, I just ain't got the cajones to do so I guess!

Bravo you do excellent work on your blades. You'd be No different removing metal. Just keep the heat low and your patience high.

Ha ha! It's gonna wear off with use any way. Patinas don't stick around long if you are using it!

Easiest to keep even is shiny. The bad need eye protection on sunny days and know one believes they get used

The 9 is great! It's quick, nimble and actually balances like a large knife, instead of a chopper. You can do a lot with this blade!

That's what I love about the 9. Freakin' light, yet chops like a beast. Yep, my most used blade by miles.
