FAL'ER I've had no issues using my Patrol but I have read stories about them breaking. I use them mainly for vines and soft wood now.

You just have to torture me with all those Grail blades don't you Tanker... Maybe someday the blade gods will show me the way to Patrol Machete ownership...

That's funny you say that, I've got a small piece of it a local knifemaker gave me probably 10 years ago. He said it was a piece of a "Bearing Stave from the SS Empire state".
I know they used it for the deck on railway box cars. I really enjoyed working with Osage and L.V.
