Yessir, I really just wanted the old Camillus Beckers primarily for sentimental reasons. I'm kind of like you in that I really only ever reach for the BK9 when its time to do anything.

My four year old fig tree has finally graced us with a plentiful bounty. I used the BK76 to cut them up to infuse them in vodka…

Also got a BK16 not pictured. The Crewman sees a lot of use and cleans up nice. The King takes down briars and shrubs like nobody’s business.

The 16 gets the most use. I thinned it out and knocked back the shoulders and tip quite a bit.

This thing is excellent at opening green coconuts.

I was saving the 16 for my daughter’s first knife. I think I’ll give her the Tops 3.5 Fieldcraft also. I want her first knife to be a Becker.
