Post your Becker knives pics here

Here is the Spec-Ops/Texas Hunt Co sheath I got. Unfortunately there is no way the BK9 is fitting in it lol. Even with the liner removed it doesn't make it. The BK7 I have on the way should be good though.:D Thought you may be interested. It is the walnut color. Seems like a great sheath.

riz, I picked up some of these sheaths too. The price was just too good to pass up. Will post pics when they arrive. I found that the BK-5, because of its upswept tip, does fit just fine in a Spec-Ops long, even though the blade is more than 8". It just misses the bottom screw that binds the liner to the nylon. For my BK-5 sheath, I may put a small rubber washer around that Chicago screw just to be sure the blade doesn't contact the metal. I got a couple of blacks (one for my BK-3 and one for a Busse) and a couple of Walnuts (one for my BK-5 and one for my BK-7). That walnut looks really good. About like coyote brown at some vendors. The BK-3 sheath will allow me to clip on my serrated Spyderco D'Allara (seatbelt cutter) and to put some emergency medical supplies in the pouch, so I'll have a better grab-and-go emergency kit for underneath my truck seat.

JV3, how does the BK9 fit in the junglas sheath? Any rattle? Did you have to mod the sheath at all? I want a pancake style kydex sheath for mine and this might be a solution

That BK9 looks excellent in that sheath, how is the fit?

fits perfectly, like it was made for the bk-9. no rattle at all. chestnut ridge knife shop also sells a kydex sheath for it as well as for the other beckers.

Awesome! Thanks.

I was going to go with a Chestnut Ridge, but they only have the foldover style in stock and I want a 2 piece, pancake style sheath

Thanks for the heads up, riz! L to R... BK-3, BK-5, and BK-7.

wow. thanks!

it's rather hefty and substantial. appears to have be pre-loved and tested ;> heh heh.

the kabar wolverine t-shirts are stylin' too. not as thin as i've been told. decent quality actually. sweet!

oh hai, the book, she is signed as well. very nice. now i have two! hee hee. shelf-queen? ;) not really.

merry xmas all.

Ah, an elusive tweener! Looks rockin' I hope they are still in the works

I've never had one come loose once I've tightened them, but I've always done that, and i don't tend to fiddle with them, or take stuff apart later, unless things are really spooged. never did loctite either, but it can't hurt.

i'd just guess that the KaBar people are just making sure they are tight but not insane. on anything new, just assume that during break in, things gets loose, fix it up, done. want to make REALLY sure, and keep the rust out of the bolts, i'd use loctite. going to take it apart a lot? use anti-seize.

Bladite

I know. I find these posts a little surprising myself. I don't get loose nuts (well...maybe Friday night :D). I also snug them up initially and they don't loosen. Maybe mine rust tight from sweat or residual moisture. Dunno.....

A wonderful set of gifts indeed ! At the risk of getting an eye poke for not perusing the FAQ's a little more thoroughly............... Can you give the specs on that sweet knife please. Stock thickness\blade length\overall length etc. Thanks.
