Okay some of you folks didn't plan right and you are like me. Sitting at home on a fine, sunny labor day weekend. Hell, my wife even corralled me into housework for most of the morning
So after I clean a mess, its time to make a mess.
Get out there in your backyard, grab a chopper and start chopping! Don't forget to take pictures!
Synopsis - the original Ranger RD-9 bites with authority and outchops the koyote but were are only talking 3 or 4 chops behind. The koyote has a more comfortable handle and I like batoning with it better. Koyote is lighter (1/8" thick steel and wood handle) compared to the Ranger (1/4" thick + heavy mircata grips). The Ranger is indestructuable, the koyote can't be pryed. If I wanted a big knife in the field the koyote is coming with me. If I want to tackle on some knotty hellish wood, the RD-9 or Scrapyard SOD is going to be used.
