I'm not bragging...but I have 45 stitches in my right hand alone from 3 events. Two of them blade related.

My left hand has 12 from a knife event, but that one was the result of someone cutting me with a blade years ago.

The first two mentioned above were self inflicted in odd ways...one while polishing an ax head after touching it up...and being distracted by my wife as she came in the door from work. The other when a golok slipped a sheath as I was trying to avoid my dog jumping up on me following some yard work and resharpening the blade. (Didn't want her to get cut, so I did.)

I'd say I'm an old hand at getting stitches, but the pun makes my hand hurt. 🤣

Goodness! I guess if you mess with knives, axes, sharp things long enough it's destined to happen. I dont want to tell you I've never had stitches before out of fear of cursing my self.

I can't complain...I've been pretty lucky in most things for the most part...including a career in LE with no major injuries to speak of. So...I got that going for me, which is nice.

Stuff happens.

I wish you a long life without stitches. 🍻
 
not been outside much this week as we've been dumped on by rain since Sunday night. the small 31 has been in my pocket for 3 weeks now.
