If I had found a double lug Tanto before I bought my DP I would have been all over it! Great knife.Breakin’ in a new one. I swapped the clip out for an MXG I tried on my Zaan. I didn’t care for it on that but I definitely am leaving it on this one. It feels much better in hand.

Throwback Thursday with the CRK....T Sebenza. This potential collaboration prototype between Chris Reeve and Columbia River Knife & Tool has got to be one of the craziest stories in my collection![]()

From what I understand, it was actually an engineer at CRKT who envisioned the project and discussed it with Chris then made the prototypes...when he brought them to Chris the response was supposedly "Hahaha...no."It is a cool piece of history. I really wish I knew the story of what Chris was thinking. It seems like such a terrible idea (my opinion) and antithetical to what CRK was all about. I have always wondered about those.
Yeah, from what I’ve heard Chris never gave the OK for a prototype to be made so when they made it and showed him he immediately said no lol. Chris Reeve was a major character. I enjoy watching old videos of him on YouTube. From what I understand, it was actually an engineer at CRKT who envisioned the project and discussed it with Chris then made the prototypes...when he brought them to Chris the response was supposedly "Hahaha...no."
