Post your CRK carry knife for today.

Been carrying this Sebenza a lot lately. It’s a great beater Sebenza. Super lightweight, rock solid, extremely sharp, and a few months ago I did a quick polish on the washers on my leather strop and my very stiff seven year old Sebenza is finally nice and smooth as it should’ve always been. I throw a million things in the pocket with this one and it’s really cool to see how well the carbon fiber holds up, still looks brand new. The lockside has great character

Seven years ago I returned a large WC Starbenza and bought this KnifeArt Sebenza instead because I wanted an Insingo blade and I’m glad it has served me well for so long. Maybe one day I can find a Large WC Starbenza again too 😃

New toy today. Our first cardboard murder took thirty minutes. First snail trail took an hour. First 21 DPS sharpening job to 600 grit took an hour more.

She's gonna be a user! I want to see how this polished blade holds up.
Nothing shows off that hollow grind as well as the polished blade. One of my favorite combinations right there.

That’s awesome. How’d you get a polished blade on a PJ? I’m eventually going to turn my Thuya 21 with polished blade into a user so I’m looking forward to seeing how yours holds up

Ha. I'm doing it to see if I'm brave enough to turn my large Annual into a user...but not until I see what cardboard, ham, and cheese will do to a polished blade.

Do you fine that blade shape overall preferable to the more traditional clip point and if so, why?
The insingo is an incredibly versital blade shape and lends itself to most tasks needed both working and EDC. The 2 tasks it doesn’t do well are slicing on say a cutting board of other flat surfaces as there is just no belly and It doesn’t draw cut as well as the Tanto. It does draw cut well but it’s at a steep all tip angle like a utility knife.
The Insingo Inkosi is a very excellent knife and would fill the only one folder spot very very well.

I was smitten with the Insingo (and similar patterns) from the first time I laid eyes on it (them).

Somewhat similar patterns have been around in one form or another for some years...but the Insingo brings a graceful interpretation to the genre.
