Post your CRK carry knife for today.

Do you find that blade shape overall preferable to the more traditional clip point and if so, why?
Agree with the comments above. I’ll add that it’s easy geometry to sharpen and the swedge is very useful where you need sharp-ish but non-cutting edge. I occasionally wish I had a clip point in my pocket when a belly is called for, but not as often as I’m glad I have the insingo.

The 2 tasks it doesn’t do well are slicing on say a cutting board of other flat surfaces as there is just no belly and It doesn’t draw cut as well as the Tanto.
Pocket knives in general are not well suited to the kitchen, but the insingo blade shape is reminiscent of the Sikayo and makes a fine steak knife. Regarding draw cuts, I think the insingo is king because it pierces better than the tanto.

I'm such a damn nerd, sitting up at night thinking of ways to carry multiple crk knives to cover every possible need. I work in an office. It's the primal part of my brain, spinning zombie scenarios. Help!

We will have to agree to disagree my friend. While the Insingo does draw cut, it does it like a utility knife, tip down. The tanto draw cuts with the secondary point with out that poor angle and with much more control.

Edit: how fortunate are we that we are discussing which of our 500 dollar pocket knives knives cut steak and draw cut better…

Truly Blessed.

Be well my friend,
Clay

First world problems man. We really are blessed.

I was scanning a couple of contracts and…
Idk why that makes me laugh so hard, I mean, I could totally see myself doing it and seeing someone else do it just cracks me up.

We used to have a thread/game where we took pictures of knives with items/things/places requested by the previous person. Idk how many times I was taking a picture of my knife somewhere getting odd looks.

I used to play the game with you regularly ( old account). Always enjoyed it.

Hasn't left my pocket since it arrived.
