The gemstone is a star sapphire. My Dad has a ring with a star sapphire in, so this one is a tribute to him. (He is still living, just so there is no confusion.)

My brother has his ring now. :) So that’s pretty rad.

you probably recall I generally don’t prefer modified CRKs, but you’ve made me eat my words more than once. Did you do the mods yourself?
