Been really liking the Small Inkosi Insingo. It’s so light in the pocket. The size is small enough to sit comfortably at the bottom of your pocket. It’s also great for a fifth pocket. It’s stout enough to take on hard use tasks. The Insingo blade is curved enough to chop up a sandwich, apple, strawberries, or peaches on a cutting board if you need a sharp knife. The disengaging is comfortable, the groove for the index finger is comfortable. The micarta is welcoming and grippy. The blade deploys easily and smoothly, by spydieflick, thumb roll, thumb flick, or front flip. It’s easy to take apart and clean, the Insingo blade is easy to sharpen. The blade is short and the handle also, thus being very agile and maneuverable in the hand easily.

It’s large brother is nice to have for harder tasks or things that need a bigger blade. But man, what a dream this is to carry in pocket and use.

Classic….again. But this time posing with one of my favorite flowers…the Lady Slipper. When I cut the grass…I cut around them. Haha.

I don’t want to rain on your parade but I won’t tell you what it looked like at first glance 😳and it wasn’t a lady’s slipper 😆

I can see why 👍🏻 The Inkosi is my favorite CRK.
How’s that front edge on CRKs Tanto ? Is it more for prying or is that a cutting edge ? I had a Strider Tanto years ago and out of the box it wouldn’t cut butter on a hot day lol.
That CRK Tanto sure looks beautiful I’ve always loved the looks of a Tanto.

The tanto on an inkosi is a cutting edge, although thick enough to handle some prying. It’s a dual ground convex edge that is brought back fairly far. The thickness of the blade goes all the way out to the tip. It still can absolutely cut, but it is mainly designed for piercing material.

It's definitely a different grind than I'm used to from other tantos I've owned. I carried Emerson CQC-7 tantos in a couple sizes for a good chunk of time, and whereas those are just "here's another section of the same type of edge" the Inkosi is more like "here's a totally different style of edge in this one spot." I dig it!

I do use it as a cutting edge, although I'm more likely to use the "main" edge. If I'm not mistaken it's a lot like a Scandi grind, so I suspect the day I find something to scrape, or need to sharpen a pencil, will be a delight. :D

Well I like the looks a lot and definitely like that it cuts and gives you many options for use 👍🏻👊🏻

Putting together my baby gate. Gotta make sure the animals stay out of the baby room for now, and then it will be useful for when my son is crawling and walking about. Small Inkosi handled the zip ties like a champ. One larger thicker red zip tie as well, took a bit more force.

Going to be a father of a son somewhere around the beginning of October. Hoping I can impart the love and respect of knives in raising him.
