I can't believe that most of you have held out so long. I opened my gift almost two weeks ago! :)

Well... I just caved in and opened my gift. Let me tell you, my Secret Santa from MA really hooked me up. I got a LM Wingman AND a Princeton Tec Byte headlamp. These are two great gifts that I'm sure to get a lot of use from. Thank you VERY much!

I finally caved as well. Jeff hooked me up with a nice match safe and an awesome AG Russell sodbuster. I'll post pics soon...

I did open my gift...a spyderco endura FFG orange handled knife. i love it Sean. i have always wanted to try one out. thanks so much.

but alas...i am caught up in the holiday whirlwind right now. i won't be back home for a day or two to get some pics and adequately thank outdoorsfan.

I opened my exhange gift this morning - I recieved a beautiful Case Small Texas Toothpick in Old Red Pocketworn bone, my favorite Case handle treatment!

I will have this puppy with me as I go to my daughter's house to open presents.

Thanks to my mysterious benefactor - the package said it came from Minnesota, but interestingly, the paper packing inside was from a California paper. ;^)

I opened my gift and got several goodies from the Virginia branch of Santa's workshop! :)

The cap matches the sweater I'm wearing today. The light and one of the fobs are already on my keyring. And the knife has been very handy for opening gifts. Thanks!

Derek sent me an Awesome Boker stag handled fixed blade marked Argentina and a cool frame lock and flashlight.

Friend's son claimed the flashlight within minutes.
 
Opened mine today, received a sling and a timberline knife.

Already put the knife to use opening toy packages today, thanks Brad, and thanks to John for organizing this.
 
Ok....i finally am getting a chance to post a pic up. as mentioned above, here she is...my new Spyderco Endura with a FFG VG-10 blade and an orange FRN handle.

Sean also inlcuded a really nice Christmas card and some lengths of cord for a lanyard.

i love it. as i said, i have always wanted to try one. it looks like it will thrive at EDC tasks. and, as i hold it in my hand...i think i just found my new fishing knife. i think the shape and length of the blade will be perfect as both a bait and a filet knife. we'll see how the VG-10 holds up to corrosion (never used the steel). but, i cannot WAIT to try it out!

Well a member from Downstate of me somehow knew of my love of old fishing lures! And the he added a stoggie too!

Caught my two biggest bass this year on a red/white Bass Oreno just like my new one as shown!
