I used a Canon 1D with a 50mm Macro lens for this one. It's a very sharp lens and it was stopped down to f/13 for depth of field.
 
Yes it's a tattoo and was fairly new when that was taken last summer. "A" is what my first name begins with.

first time Ive seen pink. (not that keen on tattoo's) but that really is something else.
