I Used to have a boatload of Spydies. This is all I have these days. There are a few new ones I am sure to get. The "Bushcraft" "Rock lobster" "Leaf Storm" I have great interest in!!!

is that one of the new Grizzlies or a DLASK?
I've got a HP9 14" and it's a great gun. Every bit as good as an 870
 

You know, the image above is one major reason that I appreciate Spyderco. Notice that the inside corner of the tang cutout is a radius to avoid stress fractures. Also notice that the inside edge of the locking bar tab is slightly angled, so as when pressure is put downward on the blade, the tab tends to lock tighter.

A great part of the beauty of a Spyderco knife is unseen, but it is good to know that it is there.
