Post your Spyder Pics

Pretty excited to finally get these Smock scales in my hand. Been wanting them for a long time and arrived today from Suingab in Lithuania.

Waiting patiently for them was a nice bronze hardware set from DNA lazer and a Bronze/gold clip from E-Bay

Definitely much beefier and substantial in the hand. Great grip, does feel quite a bit different. The spydie hole isn’t as accessible and the button lock is more recessed and a little harder to depress (no biggie on the 2nd). If either bother me, they could easily be remedied with a Dremel.

I'm back with the RGT nat Micarta modded Kapara today. I almost sold this one a couple times, but the change in scales has made all the difference in keeping this one in the both the Spydie accumulation and not infrequently in pocket.

I put some Lynch clips on some of my Spydercos. When I ordered them, I had trouble discerning how some of the different finish options would look from the pictures on the website.

Here are a Sand-washed clip and a Stone-washed clip. The sand-washed clip turned out darker than I expected from the website pictures, which I'm happy about. Maybe this pic helps someone else.

The 2nd of 2 knives that arrived today . . .

A rare vintage Gen 1 S/S SE Spyderco Police "PIG" (Pride, Integrity & Guts) variation that is very hard to find in decent condition for a "reasonable price" these days:

It is one of the best PIG's that I've ever seen for sale on the Net. Even so, I was planning to polish it to remove the scratches & other blemishes on it but, after I received it, I decided to leave it alone because it looks fine the way it is & f*cking w/it could negatively affect its value.

Very cool. I love seeing your collection. My dad gifted me a stainless one way back in the day and was my first Spyderco. Such a cool pocket knife. I ended up losing it somewhere in a snowy field when stationed at Fort Drum in the late 90's. I hope someone found it and used it :)
