I originally received this from a member here, and there were lots of scratches on the blade from sharpening and attempts at reprofiling.
Just got this back from SoLo. He rounded the spine and the sharp edges around the jimping, sterilized and blasted the blade, and finished the flats in satin.
I'm really digging this.....wtf is it? I haven't been around spyderco's in a great long while so I'm not in the loop.

That is my other fetish, DAM on anything, put the two together, oh boy, I just got poorer.... either that or a super steel, my dream knife is the PM2 CF with S90v, one of these days. I missed the Caly 3 pre-order, and I had a shot too, just no $ :/. I am sure you will enjoy!

They're still available for $235 at Blade HQ if you have the cash now.
I'm sure they won't be around for long now though and then people will blow up the price.
I'm glad I was able to jump on the trade for this one now. It's a Spyderco Second, but that's not a big deal.
I plan to carry and use the knife anyways.
I think my CRK Large Sebenza 21 and Caly 3 Damascus/CF will just hit the sweet spot for me lol.
I like my G-10 and G-10/Ti knives but I'm an absolute sucker for full ti or carbon fiber. I let go of an all ti knife for the Caly, but I will be able to pick others up later on. =] I'll likely never have another chance at the Caly, I'm broke.
You should pick on up if you can. It's just an overly beautiful knife. =]
