Excellent scales, sir!

What procedure did you use to remove the lanyard tube from the original PM2 scales? Was it easier said than done?

This is the second set of custom scales for this one, and I had removed the scales a few times before that when attempting to dye them. First time is always stiff and tricky - but I use WD-40 or some similar breaking lube to get them free and rotate and gently put pressure on them until they come loose. They all fit differently (I've done this to 4 or 5 of my PM2s) depending on flare of lanyard tube and machining of scales, but these were surprisingly tight in tolerances while still being easy to get on.

Thanks! I sure hope someone puts up a video of this process soon, because my PM2 scales will not budge for anything using the same process as you stated above :-). The closes I got was for one side of the lanyard tube to separate from a scale, but leaving the other side still stuck in the opposite scale.
