I really should've just posted these in this thread, but i made my own thread for them  lol noob.

Anyway, ZDP-189 Delica 4 and a Byrd Cara Cara G-10. Love them both.

I would like to show my by Spyderco repaired Para Military. The edge was damaged but they fixed it superb! I want to say that I'm very glad with their service. The plain edge part of the blade is now more straight than normal but I think it looks great. It is razor sharp and especially the plain part can cut very clean. So definitely thumbs up for this repair job, I still get goosebumps if I think of the horrible edge it had.

I also found out another great thing about this Military. I personally hate it to have fingerprints on my knife, I always clean the blade with my t-shirt after use. But I found out that if you squeeze the compression lock when closed than the blade looses its tension. This allowed you to get the blade out with the ‘wrist motion’. Very cool, I think you can only do this with the Para and not with the Military. Now I don’t need to touch my blade when I need to open it. So I love this knife even more, the serrated edge is maybe not as handy as a plain one but it looks fantastic IMO. And one last thing, that blade locks really great, it feels like a fix blade. You feel it’s light and strong in one. The handle feels great with the G-10, you need to feel it to really know what I mean. But enough talking, enjoy the pictures.

Yeah......my next purchase is definitely going to be a para

probably go with foilage green PE

@ 5.56, The green D2 one is also good looking. D2 is probably just as good as S30V, I don't really know the difference but I classified VG10, S30V, D2 and that kind of steel as the same. All high class steel. And if you don't like the Para Millie (small change) then you can sell it within 30 minutes here on bladeforums.

@ THG, much better. I'm glad I can show my knife without feeling ashamed.

And JNieporte thanks for all your large photos. You made a lot of them so thanks for your work. Sage looks nice on the photos, and BTW I think that the Pink Delica will suit your daughter even more. At least, most girls love pink.

one of the main differences between D2 and S30V is D2 is a carbon steel and S30V is a stainless steel. Carbon steels rust easier than stainless steels, but they have a few prefered characteristics that stainless steel doesn't. Stainless steel also has a few differences that some people like more than carbon steels, namely they don't rust as easy.
