Posting Images....Can Anyone Help?

Well, that worked very well....... Not much harder than using the drop down box. Thanks everyone for the help. Now I need to get busy and post some images.:)

Glad you got it all sorted Chuck - you sure have a lot of great images to share.

Confusing why the dropdown box for images doesn't respond. That does the tag thing on both ends automatically.

Yes, you can type it in. Takes another twenty seconds. Glitch?

BTW, if you see someone post an image and it has [IMG] and on the top and bottom, they copied a URL with the tags into that box. So they show up as extra text.

I hate when that happens. ;)

Do you have to type
everytime? I'll give it a try and try to post an image of a Jerry Rados folder that won "Best of Show" at Branson.

Beautiful pic of a lovely knife. Is it an auto?

Jerry sure knows how to work that damascus.

You captured 2 of my favorite knives that were at the show. The Chin / Newton Dogbone stopped me in my tracks when I saw it. I just had to crouch down and stare at it. Ron came over and crouched down beside me and explained some of the details of the knife. Ron is a great guy. I very much enjoyed talking about the dogbone construction.

Jerry Rados' folder is a mechanical wonder and a mechanical work of art. If you look closely, you can see 6 holes about the outside of the screws. These holes are around the size of the lead in a fine mechanical pencil and correspond to the pins on the take down tool that is in the picture. The pins are on the end furthest from the knurling -- look closely and you can see them.

Under the screws Jerry placed thrust washers that he made under the screws to give the screw a bearing surface.

Jerry dissassembled the folder and it is just as wonderful on the inside. The gold inlay really sets off the wonderful Damascus.

I look forward to the other photos you have Chuck. Thanks for sharing.

I agree.
The truly nice "take downs" look as good on the inside as outside.

Chuck, those images are great. Are you going to be starting a thread were you will be posting these and other photos you took at the show & hammer-in?
