Practical Edged Weapons Training

Hmmmmm, Chino's only 6-7 hours away by car...hey, I don't mind driving all night and getting my a** kicked by pros for two days straight. Yeah...I'll be there, aluminum MT in hand with that puppy-dog look that says "oh please, Mr. Emerson/Frank/Denny/"Ajax"/Strider, please beat me senseless so that I may visit it tenfold upon the heads of my training partners back home?"

Dude, planes usually crash doing one of two things. Taking off or Landing. If you jump out (Skydive) before it lands, you cut your risks in half!! :D Whadda ya think?

This seminar will be limited to between 40 and 50 people, and is already filling quick. The instructors will be given about 4 hours each to teach in whatever format best presents their specialty. This is not a "knife fighting school", this is a course geared towards LE (but not limited to), on how to deal with blade attacks, how to use your tools in various ways (e.g. the knife as an impact tool-Gunting, or the knife in field deployments-Strider Guys). Ernie Emerson's seminar on using your instincts in Hand to Hand combat is worth the price of admission alone. The combination of Marc Denny (Dog Bros.) and Steve Tarani will provide some excellent tools for how to deal with real world street assaults. By the way-bring money-Emerson Knives, Strider Knives, Common Sense Street Defense, and others will all be there to sell product. This will be the first to a series of seminars to later include Handgun, Shotgun, Urban Rifle, and probably some Weaponless defense in the future. I hope to see many of you there-nyeti

Nyeti, Sorry to post this here, but your E-Mail isn't listed. Are there spaces reserved for those of us that expressed an interest a few weeks ago or is it first come, first served now. It's just that my Money Order is going to take about 7 days from here in the UK and I get the feeling it's going to arrive too late.

Also, any idea of exactly what dates we are training on, so I can arrange my flights over ?

I don't think I'd mind it as much if they handed me a parachute at least then I would be given the illusion that I have some control over whether or not I touch the ground semi-intact or flat as a pancake :)
