Dang it, still can't get the actual image to appear rather than just the link.
Tried Google photos, Dropbox and imgur. Always the same, just the link.

Is that the image you’re trying to post?
When you Copy the pic’s link and paste in the image url box (insert), it should end in .jpg

If it’s not a complete link,,the pic will not be displayed.

Imgur will work. Not too sure about dropbox.
Go to your picture. right click it. Select "copy image location". Go to your post and click the picture tool (next to the smiley tool). Paste the location. Click INSERT.

Thanks, I tried that from Dropbox and it still only posted a clickable link. Gonna try again with Imgur. Should imgur work ok with an Android tablet or iPad. I have a desktop PC but hardly ever use it for anything.

I use imgur with Iphone, so it should be good with Ipad too.
Trying to post pics first time on BF is quite an experience, here (in this thread) I practiced a lot... and remember the thrill sometimes
