Now waitasecond, Tony. In all fairness, that girl with the case of Bud Light was smart enough to buy the 30 pack.

Hey after some consideration I'd rather just go for the trophy stuff. This way if it works out I’d have something I’d want to take home and mount.

Update. I started driving at 2:15AM yesterday, and got to Casper, Wyoming, about 1,150 miles later, at 8:45PM or so. I stopped for about an hour in Rock Springs, Wyoming for dinner. I was on the road again this morning, before 5AM, and rolled into my destination before 8AM. I pick up BrainOnSigs later this morning.

BTW, I spotted at least 500 antelopes between Rawlins and the South Dakota border. In other words, there is no shortage of antelopes here, which is good news for my October hunt.

Dude that's motoring!!! Glad your in safe, and have lots of fun. Crimson mist in the morning, is the way to go!!!

I didn't realize you mounted your own. Most trophies are eventually mounted by someone else.

Good hunting Ken.

There can't be much left to mount after you hit a baby prairie dog with a 204.

I have a friend who moved to Colorado from back east primarily so that he could shoot prairie dogs. He would go for longer range than most and use a .243. At least once he went to the infamous Nucla Prairie Dog shoot and came back with a cool T-shirt that included a picture of a P-dog in a scope's cross hairs.

So one day he's shopping and notices that he is getting the evil eye from everybody in the store. He hadn't thought about it much, but he was wearing that T-shirt. The other thing is that he was shopping in a health food store in Boulder Colorado. He would have been particularly popular if he told them that he typically killed more than 100 a day when he was in the field. Ranchers would invite him to clear their fields. He was lucky they didn't stone him.

people like that try to intimidate, they, in there own way are terrorist/shit disturbers. i'm going to get some t-shirts made with cucumbers and other vegetables in the cross hairs and go shopping.

Hope you have a nice hunt Ken!

Nice Cooper's:thumbup:With my INFI addiction I'm down to one Cooper(well I only had 2 to start with:p)

I am a rimfire NUT and will never sell my Cooper/Anschutz USA. Cooper bought 200 model 54 action's and stocked them with there awesome stocks.

I have been on the Cooper site and I may have to order one.

Although I don’t hunt, I love shooting. Nothing against hunting other than the time it takes. I was the same way when I played golf, I’d rather go to a range and hit 400 balls in two hours than spend six hours on a golf course and hit the ball about 35 times.

Which Cooper do you have your eye on Tony?

Bench shooting is about all I'm into myself these days

That's what you get for being an All-American. If you were as good as me, you'd get more of your money's worth on the course. :p

This one is pretty good for a toddler. This pic is from a year ago, and he still loves to hit balls and putt. If he stays interested, he'll probably be kicking my butt on the course by the time he's 12.

I don't hit the ball as far off of the fairway any more, so I'd be up to maybe 37 now.

Figure no par fives in two and maybe launch one OB in an 18 hole journey :p

I get the impression that you might play very well.

That is very good extension! Better than I ever was at that point in a swing.
