Pray for our New Baby

We'll be keeping your family, and especially little Rachel in our prayers! I know how difficult this sort of thing can be for a military man.

17 months ago this happened to me (but not the knotted cord). 6 weeks early, had to be revived twice by the staff- once after we were supposed to take her home. Even though it is tough you will pull through and hopefully yours will turn out half as beautiful as mine is!!!! Things happen for a reason my friend, keep your chin up!

UPDATE!!! Prayers are working.... She is now breathing on her own. She is now also eating from a bottle (without IV Total Parental Nutrition and feeding tube). A little problem with bowel movements and bilirubin is coming down (good). Maybe the little bundle can come home in 3 or 4 days....

This has been a hard pregnancy for Kelley... Bedrest, heart dysarrythmias, vertigo (dizziness), hydration problems and not to mention the regular stuff......

It has taken me totally away from knifemaking for sometime and had to even leave the blade show last on saturday morning. Not to mention rushing to get the knives done.... which costed me... when my family is well I will return to bladesmithing, but until then my family is always first.......

Thank you to all and we all appreciate the good people y'all are........... Hopefully I can introduce little Rachel at the bladeshow next.....

Good news, good news! What a relief it must be to see her doing better like that, I'm glad for you.
 
MORE UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is closer..... she is out of the NICU danger zone... she latched on the breast for 10 minutes . She was sent to Intermediate Care in NICU, which means closer to coming home...... Like in the last three days she has turned around.... CONSIDERABLY..........

Do like I do buddy - I have only missed rocking my daughter to sleep 2 or 3 days since she was borne:D
