Okay, she is now coming HOME>>>>>>> she will be on a portable monitor for a few days to a week. she is dropping her heart rate a little when she is feeding, but that is it.... so the Docs just want to watch just to be sure...

I have to return to work saturday with the military, I get only 2 weeks of leave and was told that it didn't matter if she is in NICU or healthy....military only allots 2 weeks no matter... WOW>>>> another reason I am getting out next september (over 8 years in). Family first......

I am going to include her in my next video I am coming out with Cord Wraps soon..... I am too darn proud of her and the fighter she is............

Thanks to all of Y'all, my wife said that there is more to knifemaking out there than just making knives and I feel the same from the response and the prayers my family has received.

Thanks to all of you

God Bless

Great! Just fantastic. My wife and I send congrats and more good wishes to you- my daughter doesn't know what's happening but my 4 year old son says "good luck being a da and a blacksmith" (He knows I make knives in a forge but to him everyone who makes metal stuff is a blacksmith)

UPDATE

She is doing great.... no problems with the heart and apnea machine...... she is gaining weight thanks to MOM's breastmilk..... but she just had to be taken to the ED (mom) due to her getting mastitis (inflammation of the breast ducts) so mom has to stop breast feeding, but at least we have enough milk for the next several weeks. Rachel has gotten a healthy start and many antibodies from MOM.... Mom is feverish right now and I am suppose to start work sunday morning at the army hospital..... hope MOM is not a patient... watching three kids is hell without her

All of ya'lls prayers have been helping. I just finished editing my Cord Wraps video and put Rachel as the camera gal....LOL>..... you see her in the video and a special thanks in there for the people of bladeforums...... Also didn't know on my conclusion that I got Kelley changing her in the background....LOL>......

BTW,,,, didnt even get a Congrats from the military on her birth..... sucks huh??? Family Oriented by butt... all we got was "guess this means you aren't coming to work, huh?" GO ARMY!!!!

Anyways thanks to all and God Bless!!!!!

Thanks For The Congrats... She Is Now Off The Heart And Apnea Monitor And Is Now 5 Lbs And 6 Oz... She Gained 6 Oz In 5 Days And Nursing As Hard As She Can Go.....

We Are Almost Out Of Preemie Diapers And Everything Is Looking Good....

Thanks To All.....

God Bless!!!

Thank God she's doing well Daniel. More prayers coming from GA. Nothing worse than worrying about your children.

Not that that ever stops...

Your service is honorable, even if you're getting treated like dirt.

Glad it's going so well! that's fantastic growth.

No, you are NOT crazy for waking up in the middle of the night scared about whther she's still breathing. I did that for several months with both kids.

And co sleeping isn't some hippy comsimp invention.

Wife suggests the boob nazis as a resource for any nursing issues, she's done a lot with them and you can work through most problems. Oh, right- La Leche League, not boob nazis. :D

glad to hear everything is working out. Keep up the hard work. hope mom gets well soon. I recently went through a similar situstion so you have my sympathies and understanding, prayers to.
Paul

Thanks Paul, and thank you all for your support. Besides the kids with a minor cold everyone is doing great. she weighs 6 lbs and 11 oz. So she is Growing!!!!! Next is the challenge of affording that other mouth....LOL....LOL..... Thanks to all and God bless.
