Thanks guys. I just received an update from my father-in-law. The neurosurgeon seems optimistic that he will be able to control the bleeding. But it's going to be a three hour operation. So these are the critical hours. I think she will pull through it. She isn't even a grandmother yet and her eldest son just announced his engagement. She has too much left to do.
Tyrkon,
So sorry to hear the news. Even if her prognosis is good, times like these are not fun at all. All of us here in my house will be sending you and your entire family our prayers.
Update: The Dr. went in and found some abnormal blood vessels pointing to the possibility of a tumor. But he said it was nothing he didn't expect and it is all operable. So she will be in the operating room a little longer than first expected but so far it is all going as planned.
may the LORD look over your wife's aunt and your family at this stressful time and bless the doctors hands and the procedure i no what your going though my dad had a stroke in february GOD BLESS YOUR AUNT
Update: Surgery is over.
she is in ICU and the next 24hrs. are described as critical by the neurosurgeon. They had to remove part of her skull to get to the bleeding to stop it and have left it off for the time being in case her brain bleeds or swells again.
The neurosurgeon stated that had she arrived much later than she did she would have died. That whole ambulance fiasco was BS!
Anyway, thanks for all the support here. It helped to hang out here tonight and do what we do best. INFI stuff. I'll update this thread as the updates come in. Now we wait.
