Sometimes we encounter such an unfortunate instance to remind us all why we carry protection.

Oh it wasn't senseless. To the people (person) who did this, it made them feel better. Why, it may have been entertainment.

it's this f---- ing wellspring of evil. Where do these folks come from? Who gives birth to them and why?

Brendan, hope and prayers for your friend and a curse on his attackers. I have no room in my soul for those that prey on others.
 
Just heard now - he's still on life support. Brain scan tomorrow, they will try wake him at some point on weekend. More on monday !!
 
May God be with you, his other friends and family in your grief. And may those bastards be brought to justice.

Do they know who did it yet? I hope they get what's coming to them, but in the end justice will be served.
