I'm sending my special and best Giant Rock and Integretron Aliens to watch over KAT, and to zap some Doctor a$$ if needed. My Aliens have special powers and have a good track record.

Alien Pixie Dust will be sprinkled over KAT to assist with her healing.

Prayers & healing energy inbound. I just spent a week on an IV antibiotic drip for abdominal abscesses following an emergency appendectomy. Hope all is well very soon.

James, sorry I missed this thread till now, I haven't been around much due to work.

I will be praying for Kathrine.

This type of infection is all pretty new to me, I still don't fully understand what it is, so I don't have any advise.

Prayers sent, my GF had her wisdom teeth out just a week ago on Friday, she got an infection and is on antibiotics and it's pretty bad since her first day of school is today.
 
Daughter went to infectious disease Dr. yesterday and he read all the reports including the one culture taken on 8/28/08. She has a bug, not staph, that is in her blood stream. Now she saw her surgeon armed with same information after the culture results and he did not prescribe the only antibiotic known to work against this bug. She is on two weeks of a new drug designed for this bug and if it does not clear the tumors, abscesses and blood stream, the tumors will have to be cut out and intravenous treatment. Please keep praying for her. The solution is still yet unknown and as it is with all children, I am concerned. We will be taking action for malpractice as they did not culture the first two surgeries as they should have and even when forced to do a culture, they did not prescribe accordingly. She has been weak and suffering since June now. Here it is Sept and the end is not in sight yet.
