Pre Show @ Shot Jewels

I accidentally hit concrete with the tip of my Izzy ... now it's 2 mm shorter than it was, but it was entirely my own fault, and I just ground a new tip and that's it. I still carry that knife daily and get good use out of it.

But you know that we will be more than happy to replace it for you if you desire.

Crazy images. Thanks for sharing.

The only stupid thing I've done with my knives is not using them. :p

Jeff what really amazes me is that you and Mike still honor the warranty even though it is evident that the product was modified, alter, & or tampered with. These are things that usually void any warranty that I have ever seen or heard of. But that just goes to show everyone the level of commitment you guys have to your customers and your word, when you say "No questions asked warranty" you guys mean it. Thank you for your commitment it means a lot to us good honest people.

As for the assholes that abuse the warranty karma is a bitch, and I hope for there sake they never need to count on a knife to save their life cause I have found the powers that be have a wicked/twisted sense of humor.

WOW people must really have different views of what it is to give your knife a hard workout.
just down right foolishness.part of me would like to think they were all owned by 12 & 13 year old's but I know it's not the case.thEms pics Wer haRd to lOok aTs.

We simpy refuse to let a few dumbasses and dishonest jerks keep us from supporting the majority of people that are good. We will warranty a knife regardless, and don't want anyone to ever hesitate about sending something back becasue they might have done something stupid. We all pry things and break things in a pinch by being dumbasses. All we're asking for is honesty. Chopping a knife in two with a chop saw is indeed covered, but claiming it broke is just flat out being a lying SOB. And dishonesty doesn't work well amongst the ESEE family of cultists ;)

I think I'm gonna have to go cry in a corner for a bit until the shock of all the reckless stupidity wears off...how can anybody treat their knives like that?

WTF?!?!?! I'm at a total loss for words at those pics! I'm glad I got the dumb shit explanation on why the 3 had a big notch cut out of the spine. For the life of me I couldn't figure that one out. Those pics right there are the prime evidence of how utterly stupid and morally lacking some of our society has become. Pure doucebagery!!!

Wow - I'd be happy to have one of those knives - even dulled. I don't think some people understand the concept of living an honest life.

Warranties are for actual breakage, but I guess when you make a warranty for the 97% of honest people you get what you see in those pics every now and then.

Exactly, and you're very close to the percentages. We can live with the 3 percent of fools becasue we have 97 percent that are great folks. So, we don't get all that mad but we do like to post the dumbassery up. It's sort of like the comic page of the Sunday newspaper.

Jeff, I just put a scan up in the picture thread - just for you to see that it's nothing wild ... just a heavy used Izula.

And honestly, if it disturbed me much - I'd rather give it away to someone who can't afford a knife and get myself a new one instead of sending it back.
It is fully functional after all.
