Precisely what everyone needs: Glock 20L

What? You couldn't get a phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range?

Are you getting uh lazuh sightink?

The 1911 and the Glock both look like tri-squares.
The Glocks simplicity makes it a little better looking. :D

Just FYI, I retook the six photos, and added four more for a total of ten.

I'm going to put on a flame suit and then make the statement that 1911's should only be chambered in .45 :p:D

I'm not saying a single bad thing about 1911's. One of my most reliable pistols was a Springfield milspec .45. Bought it for $450.

We're talking about 10mm here. The old Delta Elites had issues, the Dan Wesson I had sucked, and the current release of the Delta Elite has yet to be proven in the long run.

I've always seen beauty in functionality.

Update! Work had been conspiring against my ability to get to the range, but I managed to get to the range last night. I only shot 50 rounds through this Glock 20L, and when I was finished I had only two things on my mind: 1) Why didn't I do this earlier? and 2) Why doesn't Glock offer a six-inch slide for the Glock 20? At least, LWD fills this gap quite nicely with their Glock 20L slide that is quite tastefully done, in my opinion.

This Glock 20L is a great shooter. I absolutely love the slightly increased mass from the longer slide, and it balanced very well for me. I was shooting at only 10 yards, but all fifty rounds pretty much went into one ragged hole.

Ken, that is awesome!!!!

I love my 20 but I am thinking a Gentle Ben Grip reduction & one of those slides would be the ticket for lots of things. :D

I'd love one of those, but the grip is just too big for my hand! I wonder how much it could be reduced?

I would suggest fondling a Glock 20SF (Short Frame) before considering a Glock 20 with grip reduction.

i put a 6" barrel from lone wolf on my G20 also, but not the long slide. (I don't think they'd come out yet when i got the barrel.) Unfortunately, my completely reliable glock 20 then started jamming! It sounds like yours is just as reliable as stock. Zat so?

If so, i need to run right out & get me one of those!

Man, you guys need to lay off these OT threads ---- you are seriously affecting my ability to save money for knives!!!

Thanks for the range report Lunde, now I really need one of those

I don't have any 10mm's but I do love the Lone Wolf Slides :D, here's a couple of mine.

That thing is sweet, Ken! Man, I'd like to get a 6" slide and barrel for my 21SF. I'll stick with the .45 though- I've never seen much use for the 10mm. If a .45 aint gonna kill it, you need a rifle, IMO.

Here is another one:

This one is my Glock 35 frame with the LWD Glock 24 slide with their .357 Sig barrel.

I am not a fan of .40 Auto, and I originally bought my Glock 35 with the intent to shoot only .357 Sig through it. Up until now, I had been using an aftermarket (Federal Arms) .357 Sig barrel in it, using the factory slide. Now, I am using the LWD Glock 24 slide with their six-inch .357 Sig barrel.
