This was my little money pit for some time. Ammo was much cheaper and I could chamber several hundred rounds a week testing the new parts. Aluminum trigger, KKM fitted barrel w/ mirror polished feed ramp, titanium striker/extractor plunger, lightwt (self modded) striker spring, 6# trigger spring, captured metal guide w/ 15lb recoil spring, Mep night sights, ext slide release, ext mag release and everything is mirror polished internally...hours with a dremel . Thousands of rounds w/o one single failure and many different brands of ammo from 155 to 180 grain. I love this firearm .
I just looked over your pics again. That slide is incredible!!! I may have to look into that slide/6'' barrel. I used to move the target out to 50 yards and have fun with my setup. Extremely accurate at that range with the 5.3'' barrel, I can't imagine a 6'' slide/barrel. Ammo's so expensive now I just take her down to the lease to show off to buddies, shoot some cactus at long range lol.
Yeaaaa, seems I now have a new addiction . Money-pit was incorrect wording, at least I can recoup on guns/knives. My real money pits are my vehicles, no way I'll recoup on them!
