Stud, then hole, then a two handed opener with nail nick.
I don't care much for flippers.

Also, there are not many two handed openers without a nail nick. I've never had one. You may want to put those two in one catagory.

Spyderco Kiwi and bug knives.
I like my kiwi, but I really dislike nail-knick openers. I wanted to keep that distinction in the poll. You can always vote for both.

Like opening my Benchmades just decompressing the Axis lock then flipping out blade. Other wise thumb stud. Also like opening with the compression lock on Para 2. Don't like opening holes or getting blade out with one. They don't work well for me but have thick thumbs.

Flipper and Stud are about even for me. I really care more about lock type than opening type.

Opening hole is 3rd, but I didn't vote for that one.

Thumb disk is probably my least favorite. I actively avoid thumb disks. Everything else isn't bad, but I do like one hand opening much more than 2 handers.

Thumb stud for me.

But Flippers are growing on me.

Got no problems with the Spyder Hole either.

Big Mike

I prefer holes to studs. Then again, that's just the way my body was made. Oh, we're talking about knives. Uh, holes and flippers for me please. Two handed old schoolers are nice too.

I use a thumb stud, followed by wrist-flicking it open as hard as I can Nutnfancy style. Duuuuuuuuhuuuuuuudes.*

I am a big fan of well executed flippers, as well as assist-open Kershaws. Thumb studs and Spyderholes I don't mind, as long as the knife doesn't have a strong detent which makes me actually have to force the knife open with my thumb. There should be a clean break and then the knife flies open, I am not sure if that's a great explanation, but that's what I got!

*This is a lie.

Don't care for the nail nick except on a multipurpose knife due to no other option, so; spydie hole and thumb stud.

Two handed in everyway.

Slippies and friction folders.

I like to work with folders in the traditional way of knives ;) - It needs more attention to open and to close. I like the way of taking a breath and slowing down before opening and using the knife then do the job and the same with closing in the same way.

Oh - in my location I´d need a legal reason to carry a onehand opening knife. So I prefer to go everyday without trouble (in case of getting controlled by police etc.)

Flippers and dual thumbstuds, preferably on the same knife.

I do carry a traditional slipjoint or lockback from time to time but I have to admit, I got spoiled pretty quick by the various one-hand opening systems.

For me it's the thumbhole followed closely by flippers.
The simplicity of the hole combined with the grip you maintain while deploying makes it hard to beat imho.

Thumb hole, then flipper, then axis, thumb stud. This will probably as new knives come along.
