Happy Thanksgiving everybody. I'm very thankful for the BK area o BF and to all the people who make this place great. Love you guys and hope you all have a great turkey day!

Awesome rigging knife!
I'd like a larger spyderco too, but I can only carry 3" blades, so that and a ZT are lower on the priority list. I like the manix and natives. This little dragonfly is a seki-city and I'd like a golden, CO model too.

You should want a Taichung model too. I have 3 from there and they are perfect. I can find little things wrong with my Golden models, but not the ones from Taichung. The Sage series havve a blade length right at 3".

I like spyderco overall but very few of their blades I find visually appealing. Oddly my favorite spyderco knives out of their whole line are the value line; the ambitious, persistence, tenacious, and resilience. Not so much for the price but I like they way they look. If they did higher quality versions I'd probably get those too.

I've always heard that about the Taichung models. I've yet to try one.
Do you have a Gayle Bradley? If so, how do you like it?
It looks like a sweet knife.

Yep, I do have the GB. It is as smooth as butter........one of the smoothest folders I have used. Fit and finish is spot on. The ergos are pretty good and the m4 holds an edge forever. It is a little on the heavy side, but I've never noticed the extra bit of weight in my pocket.

Well...that does it! I'm going to have to get one.
I've been looking at the Himalayan Imports 18" Ang Khola as well. Looks pretty beastly.
I've never owned a HI. But I always seem to hear good things about them.

I plan on getting something from them eventually. I don't know how much I would actually use one, but the cool factor is there.

Dangit, you and I have such similar taste that now I have to look...

Ha!! I have the sage 1. I'd like the 2 and 3 too. The 3 is too blue for me though, but the concept of the bolt action lock is cool. I see it is scheduled to be changed to a carbon fiber and g10 set of scales for 2014, so I might wait for that one.

There was a Breeden Spyderco that I liked a lot, don't remember which exactly. I'm gonna check.

Edit: Found it, the Breeden Rescue. Oddly shaped, but looks like a fine cutter. Not much of a point, exactly my preference.

Oddly, I like this. I'm not sure why. Thanks Murph!!!

There's something about a snub-nosed blade. It's strong, and not likely to poke something by accident. I like 'em.
Here's one I made for the lady, an up-sized version of the first little one I made. Lives in her steel fab shop. 154CM and purpleheart:
