Prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse!!!

I've been watching way too many epsisodes of The Walking Dead. Just started watching it last week and am now through the first season to the 6 episode in season 2. Those zombies seem a lot easier to deal with than the zombies from 28 days later. Let's say these are the zombies we will deal with. With all the things our government hides from us, who's to say this can't happen. I don't understand why none of the characters carry machetes or practicing on the bows. Sure one guy carries a cross bow, but that is only one.

What would you carry? Let's limit this to 5 weapons. You don't want to weigh yourself down, since theses would be EDC. Not sure if you want to carry a gun as you would run out of ammo. So choose them wisely. Don't think I would carry a folder either.
 
If the apocalypse happened and the zombies resembled the ones on "the walking dead", I'd grab some cold ones and take potshots off my deck with my AR. The walking dead is decent, but I don't know how something that moves slower than spilled molasses is threatening:confused:

I wouldn't worry too much about brain dead zombies, there's enough of them already:p
 
Machete, katana, 22LR, shotgun.
Cheap plentiful ammo. How hard could it possibly be to bring down rotting flesh?
 
Darrell carries a Busse, so I'd go authentic with one of those. Id take his crossbow too along with rick's revolver and sweet lowriding sheath, then maybe an UZI and whatever automatic assault rifle I could get my hands on.

I have none of the above or immediate access to so realistically I would grab my bk2 and maybe a 2x4 with a couple 16 pennies stickin out.
 
No chance of a zombie apocalypse? That's disappointing. I guess we can fall back on the nuclear holocaust scenario
 
Dump truck with a snow plow. Regular rifle and pistol and belt knife. Few crates of ammo and barrels of fuel in the back along with food and family. Pretty much go where ever you want then.
 
Ak-47 with a underfolding stock Arsenal or Saiga,Century Arms with a descent short/ long range scope and a backpack full off mags and ammo. Glock 19 or 18 with a bunch of 33 round factory mags and ammo.Power bars,corned beef hash,beans and water. Knife i would want is something big in INFI or D2. Didn't give this whole lot of thought might be back with better details. This woul be a good one for W&C.

Maybe start a WW3 comes to the USA thread instead of zombies then. People might take it more cereal. I believe in a zombie apocalypse or mutated people or animals inhabitating the earth possiblity more than WW3 since WW3 is gonna be fought with nukes and mechanized robotics. Won't last long. Extinction of humanity unless those involved surrender or peace treaty immediately after things start. Maybe Red Dawn scenerio? :D IDK. Best not to think of any of this crap. Will make someone ill in the brain with the possiblity's and outcomes .
 
My 1944 m1 carbine strapped to my back with a bandolier of 10 30rd mags, My Steyr M9 Strapped to my left hip, my Beretta PX4 .40 strapped to the right (17rd mag), my katana, and my SOG Seal pup. I can carry more than that though. I'm 6'4" 260lbs. I'd probably have my Remington 887 slung on my back as well, a belt full of mags for the pistols, some folders in my pockets, and some shotshells on my bandolier as well. The M1 carbine is very light.
