Presentation Mammoth and Damascus Full Integral Long Sword - Photos!

Valeu rapaziada do Brasil. Valeu!!!

Very nice!

I like the flow of the sword and how everything flows together.

Thanks for showing it here.

I'm not really a sword guy, however a piece like this could make me one.
Everything about this sword is meticulously done. Beautiful damascus, beautiful ivory, the bolster/ball shows great patience and skill.
Super nice touch on the hidden pints and escutcheon name plate.

You know a project is going to be successful when the maker shows as much enthusiasm as the collector. Eduardo loves to make knives and works hard at it. A formula for success.

Thanks Sandro and Silvana. Kyle I think and his knives and damascus fantastic! Kevin you are absolutely right! I'm totally excited about a daring project! Jon Klein is totally excited and encourages me to do things much more daring!
Thank you folks. I am very happy you enjoyed it!

It is hard to say anything, this simply fantastic, congratulations Berardo.

Weight apologize for maintenance or other clerical error, I am using a translator.

Congratulacao, Eduardo! Belo espada.

I have exhausted my portuguese. I am always intrigued by how the handle material is mated to the curved integral bolsters/guard. How is this accomplished?

Paul

Hello Paul. The integral bolster and guard is made with extra pads damascus. Once forged blade do I position a pad damascus on both sides and do the welding with manual hammer. It's quite simple! Then do with machining sander and file work. If you do not understand something please let me try to explain. All the best,
Eduardo Berardo

I just received these photo's of the sheath Eduardo made for the sword. It is now on the way to Coop. With a little luck I will post some more next week.

Yeah Mike! Thank you! I am very happy. You'll like it even when you are with this machine cutting heads in their hands. Enjoy! All the best,

Great Eduardo, we were very amazed by your craftsmanship, it's really impressive. I could never realize that such a talent was just a few blocks from our home!!! Great work, beautiful sword. See ya!! Xexa e Ana.

Wow....That is really nice. I'm partial to swords..but I think it would be a little nicer on the looks with a polished brass hilt, just a simple bar across the top of the handle/bottom of the blade. And I'm wondering, is the sword balanced?

Otherwise, great work.:D

What is anaexexa a secret code, a password for an occult entity ... joke! Thank you for watching and delicate to post these words of encouragement. Valeu Dona Ane e Seu Xexa!
Heheheq thank you for the suggestion. Maybe a little bronze matched well with the color of mammoth ivory.
Regards,
Eduardo Berardo
