Presentation Mammoth and Damascus Full Integral Long Sword - Photos!

Very nicely done.
Does anyone else think it might be rather blade heavy for a one handed knife??? How does it feel???

Cheers Bruce

Bruce, just like Eduardo says,"you'll be chopping heads off in their hands". This thing is a swinger to say the least. Remarkable work from a part time maker!!!

As everyone should be aware that Eduardo is hot as a fire cracker. If you have not taken notice I suggest you keep any eye on him. His talent is just exceptional and I must say his personality matches that. This sword is one of the examples. The execution of this project shows so much finesse and dedication to excellence that a very good friend Mike Talanian took a great deal of interest. So much so that the WIP on this sword made it clear that he just had to have it. As much as I also had the pleasure of participating from afar in the whole process and too wanted this to reside in my collection I made a couple of choices. First, how could I not have such a fine piece reside in the World Class collection Mike has amassed. Second, I would never deny the pleasure of owning this museum quality piece to such a good friend. In my opinion this benefits both the collecting and knife making communities and specifically Eduardo whose work I am highly supportive of. I am still reeling with how fast this piece came and went but there were just too many benefits for Eduardo and Mike. I think this is another great example of the camaraderie of the custom knife community, everyone wins here.

Keep up the GREAT work Eduardo and Mike enjoy.

Hello my friends. I forged this sword in 2009 therefore I have times I had will to really make one big piece. The sword that I made in honor my father (posted previously) had 20 inches length. I wanted something bigger! In such a way forged I it and initiated the machining, stopping the production to conclude other projects. The Jon friend Klein entered in contact with me when we start to talk very on would custom cutlery. He said me to love big pieces of damascus. Then I counted it who I had a in progress sword in my workshop and sent some photos of piece unfinished. Jon said that I would be cool to finish the sword and starts to talk very daily. The process all was photographed and I sent the photos for Jon. To the end Jon gentily contacted Mike Talanian that bought piece. Since our first contact Jon Klein he has me advised and promoted my work beyond me to present great collectors as Mike. I public want to thank to the Jon Klein for all its aid and have supported. To thank the Mike Talanian for buying the sword. Also I want to be thankful the compliments that continue being posted in the Bladeforum and that I have received for email. Thanks a lot.
