Pretty colors

Guys I had so much fun at the hammer in last year and I'm really glad I did it, but the reality is I just can't pull it off again this year. Between working 60 hours a week in my regular job (where my responsibilities have increased a lot lately), taking care of my two little girls and my wife (who also works full time) I hardly get any time in the shop as it is. And though I probably came off as totally disorganized last year I actually put a lot of time into planning, organizing, coordinating, and setting everything up. This year my hope has been to use that time to actually get a few knives done and maybe even try to test for JS this year. I still don't now if I'll even be able to do that but I'll sure try...

Well, if you ever need help with another I hope you know you have a group of guys that will help out. Thanks for puting that one on last year it was great!
Get those test knives done!

Considering the total lack of assistance you had, it's a small miracle you pulled off what you did! I would never have accused you of being disorganized... there was just WAAAAYYYYYYYY too much for one individual to do - that's what friends are for - like Mace said - you need us, we'll be there!

I knew the answer to the question before you posted, but it's good to hear it from you, D... just means we'll need to do something unsanctioned. I say we wait until it's REALLY cold and make all these indoor forge sissies suffer!;):D

Hey Derrik, we could all just plan one, then tell ya your having it!! :D:D

If ya do a get-togeather, keep me on the list & I'd be glad to help!!

Hmmm...

Well maybe we could just have an informal gathering. Bring you own food, beer, chairs, tents, demonstrators and pray for good weather :)
