"Primal knife" from The Grinch

That knife is awsome, I have been thinking about how useful a style like this would be and it deffinatley looks like a performer. :D

Big blade, and a long handle is a good combination. Good work knife for heavy chores.

This surely looks like an all-business knife. What is the blade thickness and blade width?
Also, I haven't seen any referrence to its cost. That would help too. What about the other knife that appears in the third knife photo here:

BTW, those are nice pictures. Thank you for sharing them.

hi andros,

as far as i heard, blade is 20 cm (and handle is 18 cm)
Thickness i have no idea ???

second knife close to it might be a swamp-rat CT

Hi guys :)

I'm glad you like my knife ;)

Second knife close to it would be about... two or three camp tramps ;) I own a CT and I love it, but this custom one is just playing in another category.

The Grinch did some GREAT work with that blade.

If you have any questions or want more pics, feel free to ask.

Cheers,

David

I mistakenly had the idea that you were the owner of the knife:foot:. Thank you for your reply though.

hello and many thank's for your comment but my english is very poor ! i just can explain that all the big work on this knife is in the heat treatment !
the handle is in a hard french wood who's name : "le buis" !
Thx !

Congratulations once again for the making of this knife:thumbup:. What would you charge for a similar one:confused:? Also, what material is its sheath made of?

I don't make one more ! the design is by my friend David ! there is no price because it was a gift from members of his forum !
the sheath is made with kydex under leather ! :D

Maybe we found one knifmaker to produce a little serie ! ;)
