Why box # 6, you might ask???

It is going to Markesharp, as his consolation prize. It is a picture of Lynda and my new book - "Primble's Guide to Catching BIG Fish - First Edition"
(Shhhh - don't tell him - He thinks it is an old Case knife) ;):D

That book you wrote could fit in a tiny envelope. I see you photoshoped my fishing gear.............we all know you use a "Ronco Pocket Fisherman". :barf::eek::D

Exciting stuff! I love going to the post office with packages, but as Primble has noted before, not quite as much as the post office enjoy the visit! You have my sympathies my friend, you're a generous man

And I sure do wish British post offices sold those neat US postal boxes! :D

That time I returned home after a very difficult day to discover UnIndentifiable Melted(?!) Objects atop the stove. Only after interviewing the immediate, proximinal subjects and contemplating the "baked" appearance of the material in-hand did I suddenly remember doing something for the first time in my life that I'd only heard about before, placing dirty dishes in the oven after running out of time to Wash them before sudden company last week, o very :o. I am left marveling that the teenage daughter who happened to turn on the oven next-- almost a week later! today!-- said Nothing before heading out the door, the moment having passed, and --

Wait what's this? A box from Primble!

Thank you so much!

The knife is both more substantial and slimmer than I had envisioned, and a wonderful example of the modern-day Case at its best (including: no blade rub).

I have no other knife like it, and am truly grateful for this one.

[Can anyone guess what the blue object was?!]

My new, beautiful stag Stockman arrived today as I was leaving for a fishing trip on the coast. I have it with me now and will post a photo later this weekend (no it won't go on the boat tomorrow). It is a splendid knive - I am proud to own it - thank you Primble! OH

And this makes six boxes accounted for.

Can't wait for next years "Primble Derby" GAW!

Nice to see that all the knives arrived at their new homes, all on the same day!!

I hope the ones of you who want to will put them to good use.

Old Hunter - be sure and get some pics of your catch and post them with your knife, whenever you want.

Mark - I can't wait either for next years Derby GAW - I am sure my knife collection can wait.

On the positive side of all my knife departures - it has made for much needed storage room, for the fourteen new Charlows that have found my home, this year.

I think maybe a group picture of them might be in the cards, before long. ;)

Not sure, but, maybe a container with lid?? I am known for having a place for everything and usually that is where everything goes - to it's given space! When I get rushed and lay my glasses, or anything else for that matter, in a different spot - I have to look for ever to find them! Glad the knife did not get put in the oven - a funny and I imagine a smelly story!

Whoa! Glad the meltdown was fairly innocuous Sarah! And that it was superseded by a Bluke Anoo!
Nice going on that raft of prizes Primble! All wonderful gifts!

Arrived home last night (after a great day fishing) and was able to take some photo's of the GAW Case Stockman; beautiful stag Primble - I know it was tough parting with this one! OH
