Hi All,
This forged knife has a 10" etched blade of 5160 steel. The spine is 1/8" thick and the blade is 1 and 5/16's wide. The spine is decorated with ole time bow and tie filework. The mortised handle is walnut with two rows of domed pins, additionally, the handle is further secured with a skull crusher set in a brass collar, and the handle is steepled for a better grip, The guard is mild blackened steel with rustic filework. This is a fast, light bowie in the tradition of knives made in the old days. This is a knife for those who relish the old west, cowboys and indians and mountainmen. For some reason, I think of this knife as a horseman's bowie. It's also a heck of a user, and like all of my knifes, too sharp to touch.
Asking $185 with a sheath (not yet made).
Paypal and money orders accepted. Paypal info is: dwstifle@yahoo.com
thanks for looking,
Dave
