Soooooo let me get this straight.

You jump on 1SKS about not answering emails, and are proven wrong multiple times.

You call us up today, and instead of wanting to solve the problem, you want to yell at us because you decided to send mail from multiple addresses and blame us for your wife deleting the email we send you.

Then, we find out that you've already given away the knife in question, and don't want to resolve anything.

Now, you are upset because in order to refute your claims that we didn't answer your emails, we had to post your information to prove that we did, indeed, try to give you customer service and did indeed answer your emails.

No offense, but there's only so much we can do - and what you are asking for goes a bit past that.

If you want to fix the problem, we're willing to work with you. But let's get real guy.

Hey, netcruiser- unfortunately, the high standards they try to keep around here prevent me from telling you how much of an obnoxious moron you are. Here's what I saw: You brought this out in public in the first place. Mike tried, multiple times, to calmly address your problem, using facts and providing evidence. Meanwhile, you blathered on like a goofball. Any private information Mike gave out was contained in copies of e-mails that he posted to refute your unfounded accusations. I don't expect this to ever get through your thick skull, but I wanted to point it out to others who might read this and get the wrong impression. (Although I'm sure anybody with a clue can see what's what here.)

Oh, and for the record, I'm having some trouble with an order from 1SKS too. But I guarantee I'll get it straightened out without making a public ass of myself. (I prefer being a private ass.)
 
You know the old say "The customer is always right"? Well this customer is not and many of you who know me and have watched me know that I don't take BS from anyone, customer or otherwise. However I will go out of my way, bend over backwards, fly through flaming hoops of fire, and in one case drive a knife 65 miles away to get a customer satisfied.

Some people just like to argue I guess. Me I like to try and solve the problem and stick with the facts. Each time I told him this on the phone he kept bringing up the damn emails. I told him I think I prooved that you not only got the emails but you and/or your wife read them and even replied to them. He said how do I come to that conclusion. I can't argue with that type of logic or lack there of.

Oh well maybe one day I will be perfect.

Right now I am short handed and I admit I am having a really tough time keeping up with the emails, and handling day to day tasks.

I hired another person to come on board and he should be here in two weeks. He is helping us part time at night now and it looks like he will work out well so I can get back in the trenches.

have to say that what Netcruiser wrote will not stop me ordering from 1SKS. Having placed an order a little over a week ago I am
confident that if there is any problem with
it Mike will do his best to resolve it.

I treasure privacy and jealously guard my own and others' privacy. I abhor a violation of privacy and take it very seriously. So do many other members of this forum. I reviewed the thread that started this complaint and I can't find any fault at all in Mike Turber. The pot is complaining that the kettle has pictures proving the pot is black. Unbelievable.
Worse: Someone just cried "Wolf"; yelled "Fire!". The only thing worse than an infringement of privacy for an improper reason is a false allegation of an infringement made with malicious intent. Absolutely despicable and repellent.

Mike Turber - shake this one off buddy. For running Bladeforum, you walk on water with me. Also, I imagine most of us are laughing at Netcruiser right about now!!

Well, I have had a variety of transactions with 1SKS and I have found them to be fast, fair, and prompt in issuing a refund, in one case. Netcruiser, you're out of line here.

For the record, I made two purchases from 1sks. The second actually arrived while I was reading Bladeforums. Sentry lube, Busse 7K and ... a free gift they sent because my order got lost for a few days in the paperwork shuffle. It took two emails and post to the 1sks forum to get everything worked out. Hey, paperwork happens, but 1sks really bent over backwards getting my order straightened out.

Orders get lost at large, well established businesses to you know, not just small, overworked e-businesses. You gotta give the small places a chance to solve the problem. They care more about your business than the big guys. (At least I assume they do, since their cash flow probably isn't as stable.)

I'll buy from 1sks again and am as happy as anyone else that Mike and Spark go through all the headaches of managing this FREE and very cool website.

On the other hand, as much as I like this place and the code-3 prices, I must say that putting someone's personal info on a public board is pretty low. Lots of vendors get attacked in public. That's how business is. Ticked off customers get irrational and go out of their way to hurt you. It happends to me too. But putting out someone's personal info, that's low, and business ought not be about revenge.

This all over a sercured system. This is wrong...........
I have met new friends here and would not want anyone to go through this.
That goes for the above, Mike and Spark.
 
I don't think that emails and personal information in general should be printed out in public, however when you make accusations like netcruiser did you lose any rights to privacy concerning the relevant information necessary to dispute the claims.

I'm sure you have made new friends- there's all sorts who love to step in when you make a public stink about any dealer. You find customers where you can.

Sam, you made unfounded accusations, and then when you continued to escalate you have the gall to say that our proving you wrong was wrong? Get real.

Best of luck to you, Netcruiser. I sincerely would have liked to work this out with you - but you didn't want to work things out. You wanted to scream and yell because your tactics didn't work - and then you want to give us a public black eye because you were proven wrong.

The Forums are a *last* resort for handling problems - we've got a 1.800 number that someone is at from 10 AM until at least 7 PM (usually 10 PM) EST. If email doesn't solve the problem - call us. Instead, you chose to attack our business publicly. Not cool.

I think I'm going to make another order with 1SKS now. Because of all this, I *know* they are extremely responsible and reasonable people. Netcruiser, you have only succeeded in advertising for them.
