I just received my Pro Tech TR4 and I am impressed with the quality of this knife. The blade is the stone washed plain, and it was sharp. The safety is firm and the button surface allows sure or good contact to your thumb. The spring snaps (no really snaps) the blade open with authorty. All surfaces are soap bar smooth. The pocket clip is very stiff. I m very impressed with this knife.
That said my hat is off to the folks at Adams International. They were outstanding to work with. I am not one to hand out praise to just anyone but they were on top of things. Ordered, got a quick note stating out of stock. Ok pretty standard, but was followed up with offer to be put on back order list. (which I did) They then notified me on a time frame, updated me that all was on schedule, e-mailed me apon arrival to shop, shipping date and arrival date to my door.
